Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Erdem was born in 1976 in Hatay. He graduated from the Istanbul Medical School of Istanbul University in 2002. When he completed his medical education, he started to work as an assistant doctor at İstanbul Bezmialem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital. He finished his specialization in General Surgery in this hospital. After 2008, he started to work in various hospitals as General Surgery Specialist.
Dr. Hasan Erdem was assigned to Government Hospital where he performed his obligatory services to the State between 2009-20011. After completing the obligatory services, he worked as chief assistant in General Surgery at the Training and Research Hospital of Istanbul where he performed studies on Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery.
In 2016, Dr. He founded an obesity clinic called HE Obesity Clinic in İstanbul. He is still working here to serve international patients.
Dr. Hasan Erdem, whose many articles he wrote in the field of general surgery were published internationally, received the title of Associate Professor in 2018.
