Biography
Rd. Serra UÇTUM was born on October 2, 1992 in Iskenderun. She completed her undergraduate education in Nutrition and Dietetics at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Health Sciences between 2011-2015 and received the title of “Dietician”. She completed her internship at competent hospitals and institutions throughout her university life. On May 5-6, 2015, she became the first in the Exhibition Presentation at the 4th Student Science Festival of Istanbul Medipol University with her graduation project titled “Developing a Gluten Free Recipe for Celiac Patients”.
Following her undergraduate graduation, she started her master degree in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Okan University Faculty of Health Sciences in 2015 and completed her graduate education with the thesis ” Evaluation Of Binge Eating Disorder And Investigation Of Nutritional Status Of Patıents After Bariatric Surgery” and she received the title of ‘Specialist Dietician’ in 2019.
During her training, Rd.Serra UÇTUM attended many vocational training, seminars and symposiums and received certificates in many subjects. Since 2017, she has focused all his attention on bariatric surgery.
